Return Policy

One-of-a-kind items

Unless a listing expressly says otherwise, vintage, antique, collectible, estate-sale, clearance, and local-pickup items are final sale. Please ask questions and review all photographs, measurements, condition notes, and terms before purchase.

Materially misdescribed items

If a shipped item materially differs from its listing, contact inquiries@theratsnestpeople.com within 3 calendar days of delivery with the order details and clear photographs. Do not return an item until written instructions are provided.

Damage in transit

Keep the item, carton, labels, and every packing material while a claim is reviewed. A carrier may require inspection. Refund, repair, partial refund, or return will be determined from the documented circumstances and applicable carrier coverage.

Approved returns

An approved return must be sent by the stated deadline, in the received condition, with tracking and appropriate packing. Return costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return results from our documented error.

Excluded costs

Original shipping, rush, delivery, labor, storage, and payment costs are not refundable unless required by law or caused by our documented error. This policy does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
